Think
About the Children -- A 501 c (3) charitable, tax-deductible
corp. founded in 2006
by members of Teach Vietnam Teachers Network. TATC fights
child trafficking by supporting orphanages, building schools/community
centers, and hosting service learning trips.
Mini art prints of paintings by orphans at Ms Dons Orphanage
in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam are for sale at Art & Soul
to benefit TATC. Approximately 70% of profits from the sale
of the prints goes to the charity. The prints are available
unframed, matted, or matted & framed (see sample below).
Gallery Artist, Pamela Gates Capozzola is donating a % of
the sale of her own artwork to TATC. Tim & Denise of Precision
Design are donating a % of the sale of custom framing ordered
for any of the Vietnamese prints or paintings. |

Benefit Exhibition & Reception is scheduled to be held
in September 2008. It will feature Anthropologist Eva Capozzola's
Photo Documentary, "The Study of Love"; Vietnam
Paintings by the students of Ms Don's Orphanage; along with
works from Pamela Gates Capozzola's current project "Dreaming
Giuseppina." Frames on the Vietnamese paintings donated
by Tim & Denise of Precision Design. |

ALS Association -- A benefit for the ALS Association (Lou
Gehrig's Disease) was held during our "January Color
Sale" in 2007. A percentage of all gallery and custom
framing sales went to the charity. Donations are still being
accepted. Please call or visit the gallery for a donation
envelope.
